Weekly practice schedule

* Capacity for each class (excluding instructors) 10 people + (1 absentee reservation for 1 person)

* Children's class A is our Tuesday class. and class B is our Thursday's class. While the order of lessons will vary, the contents taught each month will be the same.  Please choose either Class A or Class B for your child.

Fees

Elementary school students

Promotion & Test fees

* Applicants will be notified of their eligibility to promote at the beginning of the month prior to their test. Please apply using our Chiseikan smartphone app. Applications will be accepted until the 10th of the month before the examination. (Application cancellation is also until the 10th of the previous month)

At the time of promotion and promotion examination: The examination fee for each applicable grade and stage will be deducted together with the monthly fee in the month prior to the test date.

Regular Students

Extended Absences

Article 11 (extended absence)

  • A member who wishes to take a break from training for one month or more and who wishes to be exempted from paying the membership fee must submit a notice of leave by the 10th day of the previous month. If the extended absence notice is not submitted by the 10th day of the previous month, the member's obligation to pay the membership fee for the following month will continue.

  • Reasons for taking an extended absence may include: When it is judged that the person cannot use the dojo due to moving overseas, transfer, etc.

  • When the dojo cannot be used due to pregnancy, illness, injury, injury, etc., and the person does not intend to withdraw from their membership.

  • When the dojo managers find legitimate reasons to grant an extended absence

Leaving our Dojo

Article 12 (withdrawal)

If you want to withdraw from our Dojo:

  • Fill out the designated form and bring the withdrawal notice to the dojo by the 10th day of the month before the month you wish to withdraw. We do not accept phone calls, faxes, LINE, emails, etc. If you cannot come by any means, please consult with the Dojo director. If you do not notify us by the 10th of the previous month, you will continue to be obligated to pay the membership fee for the month following the month of withdrawal. If there are any unpaid fees such as membership fees, they must be paid in full.

  • The membership fee for the month of withdrawal must be paid in full even if you stop practicing in the middle of the month.

How to Join our Dojo

STEP 1

Please apply to watch or experience (¥2,000*) one of our classes from the buttons below.
Children's classes are only available for elementary school students.  All others 
can choose to attend one of our beginner classes.

Watch a class

STEP 2

After the trial class or watching a practice session, scan the QR code to receive the membership application. You'll need to enter your personal information and confirm your payment method then. At that time, you will be asked to choose the day or days of the week that you will practice with us.

STEP 3

Next, please download our custom smartphone app for Chiseikan. With this app, you will be able to communicate with our teachers and have an up-to-date record of your attendance.

STEP 4

Join your first practice and have fun learning Nenshinryu Budo!
